NUASA DINNER RATINGS

How do I even start??? To avoid biasness, the usual rater had to give the job to someone else. And so there will be a fair judgement as regards NUASA’s performance yesterday. There’s no preamble as the dinner had so many negative comments at the end from various attendants, most comments had a tinge of sadness attached to it, and apparently no one enjoyed the show, Mr President, what happened? My internal sources reported there was lack of team spirit amongst the organizers, passers-by had a lot to say about the organizers……let me just go straight to the categories.

DECORATIONS: it was the only amazing part of this dinner, the lighting and décor made much sense. NUASA apparently spent money on this aspect. And so you get 19%.
FOOD SERVICE: this aspect wasn’t so bad too, i mean eating the same thing we eat here every day only this time it was free, not even free totally because attendants paid for tickets, and the service was outrageously cliché, red rice and green rice with chicken (amazing). Then to open the food it was empty, even mummy tee’s green rice was richer than what we got from NUASA, thank you very much…..i understand you’re accountants, minimising is the order of the day.  12%

EVENT ORGANIZATION:  NUASA, your event was manageable to say in the least, the lighting however, same thing with NESA there is apparently something wrong with the organization of the electricity, and please NACOSS take note, prove to us you can handle the complexities of electricity, it’s understandable if the social scientists couldn’t.  The whole lack of control with the red carpet was an issue at the event, the emcee had to keep going to the back to caution the photographers and at the same time hold his front, totally unacceptable. Please apportion a time at the beginning and at the end of the event for your red carpet pictures. Also noticed, was the fact that there was some ruckus at the service point of your food, this spells disorganization in capital letters, so sad, shouldn’t be said of the so called “Great Nuasa”. NUASA no ushers as well, I will stop here. 11%

AWARDS: I’m not an accounting student, but if there is one thing I’ve heard from practicing accountants: truth, fairness, integrity, honesty, confidentiality, consistency. To point out how you flawed in all terms would be to reduce your already reducing reputation, so I’ll let my humble readers make their judgements, but I’ll still touch some points;
Fairness: every award category you listed, over half of the results were rigged and changed, if you had the intentions of giving specific people awards, why waste your resources printing lists you wouldn’t use?

Confidentiality: before the award show, half of the winners already knew they’d be award recipients, ruining the element of surprise. Why not just put the winners in front row seats so we don’t bother anticipating?

TIME it’s obvious some presidents are more mouthed than some others, at NESA, the last reports say they stayed till 9, but NUASA couldn’t even get their performers in tow, they rushed them and in the process put the last performance for second to the last, and then what was that last performance. Last year, we know people slept at your dinner, this year it was something much worse. At least some form of satisfaction would’ve been gotten from sleeping, but after the event it was sadness and foul ratings and descriptions that were the order of the day. I can’t say I had an iota of fun. Dance dance got some people in the control room even. I just weak for the matter {permit me}.
