The Department of Political Science and International Relations: National Association of Political Science Students (NAPSS) went on an academic tour on Thursday 28th of May to the Badagry Tourism Centre. Guided by the designated tour guides, the students were taken to the first and oldest storey building in Nigeria where the history and story behind the building was narrated to the students. After the stop at the building, the students were taken to the museum of the slavery artifacts where the relics of the slavery era were kept and shown to the students. The stories of the slaves and their experiences which depicted “man’s inhumanity to his fellow man” were also told to the students.
