The Nigeria Association of Computer Science students (NACOSS), Crawford University Chapter of Crawford University is to hosts all Secondary and Tertiary institutions in Ogun state. The week-long event which has been themed: The tech-way (internet way) to nation building, is slated for  April 28th-4th of May. featuring : seminars exhibitions competitions on software development and familiarity with Internet excursion, giving you a great sight and knowledge to behold dinner and awards night and many more Venue: Crawford University, Ogun State main hall. Emeritus Professor Akin Mabogunje, Pro Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Bells University of Technology presenting the plaque to Crawford University’s Omope Samuel Oluwatosin Crawford University has emerged the winner of the African Regional Inter-University Debate of the UNESCO Institute for African Culture and International Understanding. Students from selected public and private Universities in nineteen (19) countries participated in the event which was held for a whole at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. At the finals, held on Monday March 3, 2014, Crawford University’s representative, Omope Samuel, 400 level Accounting Student with a logical presentation, carefully analysed the topic:-” African Conflicts should be resolved themselves and not by third parties “. The school has resumed officially on 24th of March 2014 AD. As we all know that  academic activities has to continue, i know we are all looking forward and expecting the RESULTS for the previous semester examination. we're all expecting good news from that 'board' lets be patient as the result comes out soon. you'll be notified from this blog as soon as it comes out and a link will be provided as concerning the site to check the result. CRU is presently on a one week vacation, hope u'll enjoy ur holiday, hmmmm, our sincere sympathy to all students especially male students that lost their properties like laptops, phones and stuffz, it is well ehn. the school is to resume academic works by 23rd of march. expecting ya'll faces back in school.

It's cool that crawford has now made 2 (two) ATM machine available both for the students and outsiders. In order to reduce crime rates and problems arising from the eco bank ATM machine, The school as allocated an ATM machine outside the school attached to the wall near the 2nd gate at the main entrance for the use of the outsiders. Only people that want to use the bank (ECO BANK) are allowed inside. Its a good thing tho' but CRU should try and increase there security strategy and stop putting students in unnecessary trauma of sudden stolen goods. like expensive laptops and so on.
