Female Corp Member Caught Using Love Charm, Beaten To Pulp #BEWARNED!!

A female member the  National Youth Service Corps  (NYSC), identified as  Chinyere , was at the weekend attacked by an angry mob at Asaba, Delta State, for allegedly attempting to administer a love potion on her 32-year-old boyfriend. The bizarre incident occurred near Redeemed Junction, along Okpanam community road, Asaba, at the weekend. Reports leading to the near lynching are sketchy, but  we  gathered that Chinyere and her lover were having issues after which the latter ended the relationship. obviously still in love, the corp member refused to accept her boyfriends decision.  “I have invested my time and resources into this relationship and you cannot just wake up and tell me you are through with me. If you have done that to other girls before, you cannot try that with me,” she was quoted as saying in a  Leadership  report. Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) The   Federal University of Lafia  (FULAFIA), Nasarawa State, has announced that students of the institution who make 3.0 Cummulative Grade Point Average will be awarded scholarships and school fees waivers. Speaking with the  News Agency of Nigeria  (NAN) in Lafia, FULAFIA Registrar, Mr  Idris Jibrin , said the award was initiated to encourage excellence among students and maintain high academic standards. “Students, who make three points and above in their first year, would enjoy scholarship from the school and will not pay fees as long as they maintain the grade,” he said. “As part of efforts to encourage academic excellence, the management of the institution came up with a scholarship scheme for outstanding students." http://payripo.com/?share=2367 When the  2014  UNIVERSITY WEB RANKINGS for Africa  released by International Colleges and Universities (ICU),  no Nigerian University  was listed among the ten best in Africa. In the  Nigerian Universities rankings , the University of Ilorin  (UNILORIN) was the best University in Nigeria, followed by the University of Lagos   (UNILAG) , with the   Obafemi Awolowo University  (OAU) coming 3rd. University of Ibadan  (UI) was 4th,  Landmark University  (LMU) 5th,  Covenant University  6th,  Federal University of Technology , Minna (FUTMINNA) 7th,  University of Benin  (UNIBEN) 8th,  University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (UNAAB) 9th and  University of Nigeria , Nsukka (UNN) came 10th. Well...not soo long after closing down the main food outlets of the place, it seems that the shops have now been opened back asat yesterday(31/10/2014). According to close sources from school, They started selling food last nights and as usual...a lotta crowd were present at the glorious 're-opening' event buy dooing their normal routines of buying food, hanging out and other stuffs that 'we' normally do at FFO every night ;) So, therefore....i guess its safe to say, thats a big 'bad' news for school cafe tho but more importantly good news for all of us. Nigeria's richest woman, Alakija, has urged students to aim for great heights after revealing that she never attended a university Nigeria's richest woman,  Folorunsho Alakija , has revealed that she did not attend a university as she worked her way to her fortune. Alakija, who is worth $2.6 billion according to  FORBES estimates, opined formal education is not a condition for success. So therefore, this resulted to everyone having to focus their buying activities only on 'school owned' shops like the School cafeteria, College shop an the shop opposite cafeteria.. #WICKED: Man Kills Baze University Student To Avoid Repaying N7m Loan!!!!!

Baze University,Abuja  (Baze University) A 26-year-old student of Baze University, Abuja, Awwal Umar, has been murdered by a friend who owed him N7 million naira. The FCT Commissioner of Police, Wilson Inalegwu, told newsmen that the chief suspect, Abdullahi Bello, connived with a spiritualist, Lawal Saleh and some hoodlums to kill late Umar to avoid repaying the loan,  Nigerian Eye  reports. Inalegwu said Bello had initially asked Saleh to make Umar forget about the loan which he had spent on building a house. When the charm failed to work, and Umar continued to ask for his money, Bello murdered him and converted his car to personal use after repainting it. NUC List Of Nigerian Universities With Approved Postgraduate Programmes, CRAWFORD UNI NOT APPROVED!!

The Executive Secretary of the NUC, Prof. Julius Okojie Only fifty-eight(58) Nigerian universities have approved post-graduate programmes according to a  list recently  published the National Universities Commission (NUC) in its bulletin. According to the NUC, it is concerned that some universities are running illegal postgraduate programmes. "The National Universities Commission (NUC) has observed with great concern that some Nigerian universities are running unapproved postgraduate programmes, leading to the award of Masters and PhD degrees. "The Commission has also observed that some Parastatals and Institutes are awarding these same Postgraduate degrees, either on their own or through unapproved affiliations with Nigerian and foreign Universities.  Such practices are not only unethical, but also antithetical to time-tested quality assurance best practices." It warned that "qualifications/awards resulting therefrom are not recognized."

Many Nigerian youth, especially students, are actively involved in CULTISM  Police in Ogun state have arrested three suspected student cultists for forcefully initiating a fellow student into their cult against his wish. The suspects, Okwuma Obiora (17), Adigun David (18) and Kenneth Mokwunye (24), all students of students of ICT Polytechnic, Igbesa, in Ogun State, were arrested last Friday by officers of the Anti-Crime Patrol team attached to the Agbara Division of the Ogun State Police Command. They allegedly attempted to recruit the student into the Vikings confraternity. According to the Command's Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, the suspects threatened to kill the student if he refused to join their group following which he reported to the police authorities.
