Wednesday 3rd August witnessed the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta host different stakeholders to the Press Summit of the Union of Campus Journalists, FUNAAB Chapter. The Summit was part of a weeklong series of activities held by the FUNAAB Chapter of UCJ in celebration of its Annual week in the university. It was held in the Postgraduate Building of the University. OLAPADE OLUWAFEMI is the outgoing Chairman of the Students Representative Council in Crawford University (S.R.C.). He is also the former President of NESA (National Economics Students Association). A house hold name in the school, Femi is known as the Face of S.R.C. amongst the students. Although, not every student would reckon with him during his tenure as the Chairman, Femi notwithstanding developed a rep and carved a niche for himself as the Chairman of the S.R.C. THE 2015/2016 ACADEMIC SESSION IN RETROSPECT: AN OVERVIEW BY THE CRAWFORD STUDENTS PRESS CLUB.

Crawford University has just vacated for the 2015/2016 session recently. This was after the conclusion of the Harmattan semester’s examination which rounded up proceedings for the session. The examinations began on the 13th of June and ended on 25th June. As a result, the Crawford Students Press Club has conducted an overview into the just-concluded academic session, placing focus on the key area of the university community as a whole in terms of development and School management. The 2015/2016 session witnessed a lot of events, new developmental beginnings for the University as a whole. It was the first year of the university’s current Vice Chancellor Prof. Rotimi Ajayi Isaac (who was appointed in September 2015 after the tenure expiration of the former Vice Chancellor, Prof. Samson Ayanlaja).
