Police in Ogun state have arrested three suspected student cultists for forcefully initiating a fellow student into their cult against his wish.
The suspects, Okwuma Obiora (17), Adigun David (18) and Kenneth Mokwunye (24), all students of students of ICT Polytechnic, Igbesa, in Ogun State, were arrested last Friday by officers of the Anti-Crime Patrol team attached to the Agbara Division of the Ogun State Police Command.
They allegedly attempted to recruit the student into the Vikings confraternity.
According to the Command's Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, the suspects threatened to kill the student if he refused to join their group following which he reported to the police authorities.
Adejobi advised students facing the same ordeal to report to the security bodies.
