THE 9 CATEGORIES OF CRAWFORDITES

THE CATEGORIES OF CRAWFORDITES
“CRAWFORDITES” Yeah! Don’t be surprised, it‘s that general term in
describing all Crawford University students. You and I are Crawfordites and
we all seem to be socially and academically stratified into different categories!
You don’t think so?
In d short stint of mine in this university, I have studied, related with and
carefully categorized Crawford students into 9 distinct categories with brief
descriptions based on socio-academic parameter.
THE SERIOUS STUDENTS
This category encompasses those students who are generally known by
fellow students and lecturers alike to be good students. They are usually
active & attentive in class .They are usually brilliant, corporate dressers and
class toppers.
THE UNSERIOUS STUDENTS
These students are generally termed to be unserious by lecturers and fellow
students alike. They are not usually active (academically inclined) in class,
usually lackadaisical about assignments, group works and class exercises. A
small percentage of this kind of students is calm and reserved in class. They
are naturally nice and societally acceptable.
THE SOCIALLY-ACTIVE STUDENTS
These are the students who are generally known by fellow students to be
socially active as they are seen at almost all the social events in the school.
They are sometimes unusually average students & unfortunately are not
really forces to reckon with in their classes (academic inclined). Their
trademarks are sourced from their usually attractive dresses which are as a
result of their functioning gigantic purchasing power. They are generally
affluent students. Of course they are great dressers.
THE KNOWN GENIUSES
These students are popular, usually brilliant and intelligent. Always active in
class and well- dressed students. Most of the times, they are class toppers.
THE UNKNOWN GENIUSES
These are the students who are not known by lecturers and most students
until the results of tests and examinations are released. They are usually not
active in class, most of the times quiet & reserved. They enjoy solitude. They
are not usually active at social events as they are not corporate dressers.
THE ELITES
These are students who are known & recognized to be rich and affluent. They
are usually nice but sometimes rude & naughty. They are naturally good
students except for some exceptions. They are mostly average students as
they are attractive and good looking. They are corporate dressers.
THE RELIGIOUS STUDENTS
They are mostly “APOISTS”.  They are always early to church for any church
activity (ies). They are seldomly seen at social functions in school even
though they are often socially active. They are usually brilliant, religious and
sometimes reserved. Most of them are academically good students
THE SPECIAL STUDENTS
These are the students whom nature had seemed to be cruel on them. They
are the “loners”, “down-trodden”. They have different deficiencies which
negatively distinguishes them from other “normal” students. They are not
usually corporate dressers, they are always reclusive in class, not active. Of
course, don’t expect them to be at social events in the school why? Inferiority
complex... So sad, they are usually average students.
THE NEUTRALS
These students are the types that are not socially active & academically
okay. They are not affluent neither are they poor. They are mostly average
students as they are not corporate dressers. You won’t see them in church
early and they won’t be late to the church. They are never active in class.

So there they are! The diverse categories of all Crawfordites! There could be
more although right now, I have compiled just 9 categories. It’s left for you to
search and categorize yourself into one of them.
