BIOSSA HOLDS DINNER AND AWARD LUNCHEON

The Biological Science Students Association (BIOSSA): A combination of Microbiology department and Biochemistry department of the Natural and Applied Sciences College held its Dinner and Awards Luncheon on Thursday 21st of May; 2015. The combined Dinner and Awards Luncheon is the first of its kind in the history of both departments which saw both departments combine their resources together to produce a single spectacular night of entertainment and music.


The event was anchored by Pillz (Akinibosun Tunji 400L), a popular on-campus Student artiste. There were performances from students artistes also like Chinny which was electrifying as the audience danced to his songs. A drama group in the school, Landlords also gave a comic drama performance which got the audience laughing their ribs out (figuratively though). A dance performance was also performed by two groups; one of the groups came from FESTAC while the other was from Crawford University.


The awards from the department of Bio Chemistry were presented by Emeka Charlton (Eja-Nla), the president of BIOSSA to the recipients. The awards presented are:

A NEW VICE-CHANCELLOR FOR CRAWFORD UNIVERSITY

Crawford university has appointed a new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Isaac Rotimi Ajayi. This was made official at a send forth ceremony organized for three of its administrative members. They are: the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Samson Ayanlaja: the former school bursar, Rev. E.O. Ajayi and the Outgoing School Counsellor Dr. E.O. Aramide. The send-forth was held on the 5th October 2015 at the school's multi-purpose hall. After serving as the second Vice Chancellor of Crawford University from October 2010 to September 2015, Professor S.A.
