DELSU Student Beaten To Pulp For Stealing Jeans, Torchlight, Clipper...



 

A student of the Delta State University(DELSU) Asaba Delta state, Yahaya Usman, narrowly escaped lynching after he was caught burgling a house around Umueze Quarters, Asaba.
Student Pulse gathered from a Leadership report that the 22-year-old suspect broke into an apartment belonging to one Peter Umueze around 8:30 pm but was discovered as he tried to escape with his loot.
Quoting the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSPCelestina KaluLeadership said the suspect broke into the room when Peter took a stroll with his friends.
Kalu reportedly said the suspect was discovered by a neighbour who saw the suspect with a torchlight and keys and raised alarm.
An eye witness quoted in the report said Umaru tried to escape but was chased and caught.
He was found in possession of a black bags.
One bag contained two pairs of jeans trousers and provisions belonging while a clipper and torchlight was found in the other.
After the discovery, the youths gave him a severe beating before handing him over to the police.
DSP Kalu said Umaru confessed to the crime during interrogation.
He is still being detained.
Please o u crawfordites...its about time we start considering doing the same thats why i purposely gave this report. We cant deny the fact that there are too many thieves in our beloved Crawford...especially in Male hostel. We need to fish them out by ourselves and beat the SHIT outta their miserable bodies becaz this so-called 'securities' are too old to catch thieves(#obviously). thats why there has never been a time that you will hear one security man or porter catching one student stealing..or even recovering a stolen item.
