Black Magic?Student Kills Senior Prefect With 1 Blow In Onitsha School

A student of Modebe Secondary School, Odoakpu, Onitsha, (Names withheld) has killed a Senior Prefect of the schoolChukwuebuka Okanume after a brief argument.

According to a Daily Independent report, the suspect, an SS1 student, allegedly killed Okanume with a punch in retaliation after the later slapped him over an act of indiscipline on Tuesday.

Okanume had reportedly accosted his killer for not tucking his shirt in within school premises.

But the junior student replied that he was only in the school to collect transfer papers to another school in Asaba, Delta state as he was no longer a student of the school.

A heated argument followed during which the Prefect slapped his eventual killer who retaliated with a blow that knocked him out.

The Prefect slumped and was rushed to the hospital where doctors confirmed him dead.

It is being speculated that the alleged killer used black magic because he wore a potent ring believed to be behind the killer punch.

According to Daily Independent, the  Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Uche Eze, said the suspect has been and investigations are ongoing.

The principal of the school, Mr. Ralph Machie, reportedly declined to make comments but confirmed the killing

A NEW VICE-CHANCELLOR FOR CRAWFORD UNIVERSITY

Crawford university has appointed a new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Isaac Rotimi Ajayi. This was made official at a send forth ceremony organized for three of its administrative members. They are: the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Samson Ayanlaja: the former school bursar, Rev. E.O. Ajayi and the Outgoing School Counsellor Dr. E.O. Aramide.
