Beneficiaries of the awards emerged in five categories covering student with academic distinction, leadership qualities, outstanding sports performances, physical disabilities and financial challenges (indigent).
Chairman of the University of Lagos Advancement Board, Mr. Mac Ovbiagele, represented at the occasion by Professor M.C. Isiekwe, said the awards are given to ameliorate the financial difficulties of deserving students in the pursuit of their academic careers.
